Hi, I’m Katia street

  • With over fifteen years of experience in global corporate communication, branding, and digital strategy within complex international organisations, I developed a deep understanding of how vision, narrative, and execution must align to create lasting impact.

Working at worldwide level across leadership, marketing, organisational storytelling, design thinking, and innovation teams, I led large-scale platforms and transformation initiatives that required both strategic and analytical rigour as well much as creative sensitivity and direction, with regular engagement and reporting at executive level.

This foundation continues to inform the way I observe systems, read contexts and dynamics, and translate ambition into coherent, human-centred experiences.

Today, this expertise unfolds through an intentionally light, independent advisory practice at the intersection of interiors, hospitality, creative direction, as well as experience & coherence refinement.

After relocating to Dubai from France, I consciously chose to reorient my professional path around family life, interior design, and the experience of home, while homeschooling my daughter and cultivating a more integrated, intentional way of working.

This period deepened my understanding of energy flow, environments, rhythms, and emotional safety directly influence creativity, learning, and wellbeing.

I founded Kat’s Walks in a continuous pursuit of harmony, experience, and depth — now expanding into a broader ecosystem of interconnected projects across design, education, art, and strategic consulting.

I support private clients, designers, founders in refining environments as well as service propositions that are both commercially sound and emotionally intelligent.

Whether working on spaces and interiors, hospitality concepts, and guest experiences, my role is to bring clarity, depth, and coherence ensuring that what is created not only performs, but truly resonates.

  • My background is not defined by a diploma-driven design path, but by more than twenty years of interior design love and practice (as well as a few personal architectural projects), shaped by a French and European culture of design, where coherence, proportion, and lived experience matter as much as visual language, bringing both structure and sensitivity.

My contribution focuses on creative direction and bespoke conceptual frameworks with an educated eye for aesthetics and unconventional takes — helping ideas hold the right intention before they are translated into space.

I do not operate as a conventional designer or stylist, nor do I seek to replace or compete with those roles.

My role is intentionally complementary to interior design studio practices.

This reflects both how I work best and how I have chosen to structure my professional life, balancing my creative work with a personal life shaped by alternative choices — finding freedom in homeschooling my daughter.

It naturally leads me to operate as a focused, independent advisor, rather than building a traditional studio model.

Operating at this level allows me to remain independent, discreet, and fulfilled by the creative exchange — bringing fresh perspectives, clarity, and refinement, — with the aim of elevating what is already strong.

Over time, this has become my motto — in my work and beyond:

I invest myself, always alongside talented teams, in projects that are not only beautiful to see, but deeply thoughtful in terms of experience, flow, and depth.

Because we become the environments we live in — let’s make them meaningful and unique.

  • Into what's greater than ourselves…

Education, to me, is not just the transmission of fixed knowledge, but the cultivation of curiosity, discernment, and inner independence.

Children possess a deep sensitivity to their environment, along with natural abilities and inclinations that emerge early when they are given the space and confidence to express themselves. Witnessing these qualities, and supporting their development, allows each child to flourish in their own authentic way. I believe it is far more meaningful to recognise and celebrate individual strengths than to mould children into predefined expectations. Authentic confidence grows when one feels seen, respected, and trusted.

Through the experience of homeschooling my daughter, I have witnessed how curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and autonomy flourish when learning is supported by environments that offer both structure and freedom.

Alongside my advisory practice, I continue to develop projects — both intimate and large-scale — dedicated to fostering these qualities in younger generations. Whether through educational initiatives, spatial concepts, or cultural programmes, my intention is simply to contribute, in a meaningful way, to the emergence of thoughtful, capable, and thriving individuals.

I have always believed that meaningful work lives at the convergence of aesthetics, intelligence, and purpose.
